If you love your divas and you love your celebrity impersonators, this is a show you simply should not miss. Catch "Divas: She's Every Woman" starring Bonnie Kilroe on Saturday, September 7 at 6pm in downtown Fayette (if inclement weather, the show will be in the Fayette Opera House). The show is free and open to the public, but don't forget your lawn chair. Following the show guests will have an opportunity to get their picture taken with one of Bonnie's celebrity's before the fireworks and sky lantern launch take place.

Congratulations to Kenzie Adkins, our 2024 Watermelon Days logo winner. Kenzie is a Kindergarten teacher at West Central School in Maynard (her alma mater!). She grew up in between Maynard and Fayette and attended Upper Iowa University for a year before finishing her degree at Buena Vista University.
Kenzie can’t wait for her daughter to experience her first Watermelon Days this year! Her favorite part about Watermelon Days is the community, university, business, and individuals all coming together to make lasting experiences and memories for all the generations in attendance!

Watermelon Days is held in Fayette, Iowa the first weekend after Labor Day and is a 3 day event. It will be celebrating it's 52nd year and we are excited for all the things that will be at Watermelon Days. Our goal is to provide as much FREE Family Entertainment as we can.

Purchase your Watermelon Days Magnets at local Fayette businesses later this summer - OR - at our booth during Watermelon Days! $1/Entry or 6 for $5! Many prizes will be given away, including 4 - $150 CASH prizes, $250 Fleet Farm Gift Card, a Northeast Security Bank cooler and many other gift cards, coupons, apparel and more. Drawing will be at 5PM on Saturday, Sept. 7th near the Main Street Stage. You do NOT have to be present to win, but if you are, then you get to PICK YOUR PRIZE.
