(Times and events may change) 10am - 5pm Fayette Community Library Silent Auction & Book Sale at the Fayette Community Library 5pm - 8pm FREE-will Community Dinner on Main Street & at the Fayette Fire Station FREE Watermelon. Free-will dinner menu includes: Pulled pork/pulled chicken sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, pasta salad, watermelon, cookie, lemonade and water 5pm - 7pm- FREE, Family FUN: Inflatables for kids of all ages (Jousting, Star Wars Obstacle Course & Toddler Bounce House), Darrel the Ballon Guy (FREE balloons), FREE Mini-Golf, FREE Barrell Rides, FREE Quick Caricatures, FREE Face Painting, FREE Yard Games (Spike Ball, Cornhole/Bags, etc.) and more 5pm - 8pm Paintball Turkey Shoot - $5 for 25 balls and Watermelon Burst Fundraiser (Rubber Bands on a Watermelon) *5:30pm Mayor Awards on the Stage *Note time change - now at 5:30pm instead of 7pm 6pm-10pm FREE Live Music by Felix & Fingers Dueling Pianos 
6:30pm 5k Walk/Run on Main Street [Pre-register for $15/person by contacting Jim Mitchell at 563-425-3333 or $20/person the day of the event.] (Registration at 5:30pm) 7:15pm Tot Trot (Ages 6 and under) & Fun Run (Ages 12 and under) on Main Street 8pm FREE Watermelon Eating Contest for ages 5yrs old and up Saturday, September 7th, 2024

9am-3pm Fayette Community Library Silent Auction at the Fayette Community Library (104 State Street, behind the bank) 11am-8pm FREE Yard Games (Spike Ball, 9-Square in the Air, Cornhole/Bags & more) 11am Parade on Main Street (Line up at 10am on East Water Street, contact Rick Hofmeyer at 563-422-8090 for questions, registration not required) 11:30am FREE Live Entertainment - United Baptist Church Crusaders 11:30am-4pm FREE, Family FUN: FREE Mechanical Bull Rides, FREE Inflatables for kids of all ages (Jousting, Star Wars Obstacle Course & Toddler Bounce House), FREE Kids coloring t-shirts (while supplies last), FREE Mini-Golf, FREE Barrell Rides, FREE Quick Caricatures, FREE Face Painting, FREE Rock-the-Bike Spin Art, FREE Fire Truck Rides, FREE Watermelon, FREE Yard Games (Spike Ball, Cornhole/Bags, etc.) and more

11:30am - Register for Cornhole Tournament at DT's Pub & Primetime Pizza. Tournament starts at Noon in front of DT's Pub & Primetime Pizza. 11:30am-6pm FREE Escape Room Z at the Fayette Fire Station. (First come, first serve, space is limited, recommended for 15 years old and older). 11:30am Free Live Music - Addison Haas 
1pm FREE Fayette 150th Sesquicentennial Play at the Fayette Opera House
1-3pm FREE Absolute Science Bubble Stations, 10 to 15 FREE Bubble Stations 
1-3pm Ax Throwing ($1/Throw)
2pm BINGO - Fayette American Legion Hall 2:30pm-5:45pm FREE UIU Tailgate & Football Party with Live Music by Dizclaimer (90's Rock) @ UIU Football Tailgate area (located near the UIU Football Stadium) 
3pm FREE Cartoon Concert (find out which cartoon Prince and/or Princess, Superheroes and other cartoon characters will show up). Immediately following the show will be a meet & greet with characters.
5pm-7pm FREE Darrel the Balloon Guy 5pm Watermelon Days Raffle - front of Main Street Stage (4 - $150 Cash Prizes as well as many more prizes - need not be present to win, but if you are, you get to "Pick your Prize" after the $150 cash prizes are drawn) 
5:30pm Crowning of Little Miss & Master Fayette and Miss & Mr Fayette on the Main Street Stage (Contact Andrea Scott for more information or to register) [If inclement weather, it will be held in the Fayette Opera House]
6pm UIU Home Football Game at UIU Harms-Eischeid Stadium - Cheer on the Peacocks! 6pm-8pm FREE Paint the Police Car 
6pm FREE Live Show - DIVAS: She's Every Woman (Starting Bonnie Kilroe). [If inclement weather, it will be held in the Fayette Opera House]
Dusk - FREE Fireworks - Main Street Sky Lantern Launch following Fireworks on the Main Street Bridge ($3 per lantern or bring your own)

Purchase your Watermelon Days Raffle ticket for a chance to win one of 4 $150 Cash Prizes or one of many other prizes! Drawing at 5PM on Saturday, Sept. 7th on Main Street. You do NOT have to be present to win. If you are present - you may "Pick your Prize" (4 $150 prizes will be drawn first, after those, you may "Pick your Prize" if present). Purchase your tickets for only $1 each or 6 for $5 at local Fayette businesses or at our booth during Watermelon Days.
